A “Community In Bloom”: That’s the vision behind The Sibila Family Foundation’s latest beautification project in partnership with We Love 305, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, the South Florida Orchid Society and City of Miami.

During an unprecedented two-year initiative, residents of Miami’s historic Coral Gate neighborhood will unite to re-introduce 1,000+ native orchids into the local ecosystem. Each plant will be geo-tagged and monitored via state-of-the-art technology developed in partnership with FIU. “Coral Gate is a magical place where sunshine meets serenity…around every turn is a natural masterpiece waiting to inspire,” says Estrellita S. Coral Gate is the first community in the City of Miami to implement the Million Orchid Project as a citizen-funded beautification initiative.
